A large police presence was seen Monday morning in West Sacramento after one person was injured in a shooting.Officers with the West Sacramento Police Department and deputies with the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. in the area of Essex Avenue off of Kinsington Street in the Arlington Oaks neighborhood. West Sacramento police said one person was shot and taken to an area hospital. They are in stable condition.The circumstances of the shooting are unknown.
