14 patients in Hong Kong hospital’s geriatric ward test positive for Covid

All patients are in stable conditions and receiving treatment in isolation.

Admission to the ward is currently suspended with restricted visitation. It has also been cleaned thoroughly, with strict infection control measures in place.

In November of last year, Kowloon Hospital reported that 14 patients in a male psychiatric ward had contracted the coronavirus.

Ten patients at a ward in Kwai Chung Hospital also tested positive for Covid-19 in January of this year.
