A 15-year-old girl has died after being hit by a bus in Birmingham.
The teen was seriously injured in the collision and confirmed dead shortly after arriving at the hospital, police said.
The bus driver is assisting police with investigations into the collision that occurred on Sheaf Lane in Sheldon shortly before 3pm on Saturday.
PC Gail Arnold said: “A young girl tragically died and we will do everything we can to support her family during this deeply distressing time.
“We are working to establish the circumstances behind the collision and are eager to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and especially anyone with dash cam footage.”
