The Fall 2023 fashion shows wrapped up earlier this month, and after four cities and hundreds of collections, one thing was clear: There will be plenty of statement long coats available to buy…in about six months.
Yes, that’s a long way off, and it might seem counterintuitive to think about new coats just as we’re about to put away our winter wardrobes. But while these things are fresh in our minds, we’ve selected two dozen that we found particularly special: Burberry’s warm yellow trench coat, Proenza Schouler’s chunky checked tweed, Chloé’s striped stunner and, of course, a brown MaxMara. thick and shiny, to name a few.
And if none of these appeal, fear not: you can’t go wrong with a great black coatwhich many designers offered in a variety of fabrics.
