According to a statement issued by the Establishment Division, another meeting of the board will take place on Thursday which will analyse the performance of police and other groups as well.

PM Shehbaz after assuming power immediately took up the matter and promoted the deserving officers which was pending for the last one-and-a-half years. The premier has also directed to immediately make the decisions public.

Former PM Imran Khan did not promote any office from October 2020 to April 10, 2022, due to which many deserving officers retired without getting promoted.
