Traffic at standstill major UK motorway after multi-vehicle crash and fire

Drivers have been warned to expect delays on the approach to the accident. Motorway camera footage shows traffic at a total standstill, with vehicles bumper-to-bumper. National Highways wrote: “The M1 southbound in Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire is closed southbound between J15 (Northampton) and J14 (Milton Keynes) due to a multi-vehicle collision and vehicle fire.” All emergency services are on scene. National Highways Traffic Officers are assisting with traffic management.
