Samsung Elec plans over $73 billion investment in 2026 to lead in AI chip sector

SEOUL, March 19 : Samsung Electronics said on Thursday that it plans to invest more than 110 trillion won ($73.24 billion) this year in order to lead the semiconductor industry in artificial intelligence.

The company said in a corporate filing that it was also seeking meaningful mergers and acquisitions for robots, medical technology, auto electronics and air-conditioning solutions.
