Lidl launching Dyson dupe vacuum cleaner that’s £200 cheaper – ‘act quick’

Lidl will start selling a dupe of a Dyson vacuum, but customers should act quickly if they want to get their hands on it. Lidl regularly adds limited edition products to its famous middle aisles in stores, selling them for a set time while stocks last. Some of these items prove to be in huge demand, which could well be the case with the Silvercrest Cordless Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner, which arrives in UK stores on Sunday, April 19.

The Dyson dupe is £200 less than its branded counterpart and arrives at a time when many Brits are getting through their Spring cleaning. It can be used as a handheld or upright vacuum cleaner, offering households many ways to use it to get into tricky corners and edges. It will cost £49.99, and it will only be available while stocks last. It also features an electric floor brush with LED light, making it easier to clean areas where light doesn’t reach and dirt might be hiding.

Lidl’s offering is vastly similar to Dyson’s V8 Cyclone cordless vacuum, which currently costs £249.99 on Dyson’s website, down from £349.99.

It isn’t the only dupe available for a similar price. Amazon is also selling the VATECH cordless vacuum cleaner for £49.99 online. Lidl brings out similar dupes of branded appliances and gadgets every so often, and they are normally available in most of its stores across the UK.

Most Lidl stores feature a Middle or Lidl aisle, where customers can find household appliances, gardening equipment, kitchenware, outdoor furniture and more at reasonable prices, often much cheaper than similar, branded items.

These Middle Aisle items only last for a certain amount of time, so the supermarket tells customers they need to “get them while they last”.
