Man charged after shotgun fired toward Aberdeen apartment complex, police say
ABERDEEN, Md. —
A 70-year-old man was charged after gunshots were fired at an apartment complex in Harford County.
Aberdeen police said officers were called around 11:20 p.m. Thursday for a report of shots fired on East Bel Air Avenue.
Officers arrested James Richard Homer, 70, of Aberdeen, who they said admitted to firing a shotgun, police said.
Witnesses told officers that two rounds were fired in the direction of a nearby apartment complex, and officers found what police said were two suspected points of impact, including a street sign and a nearby residence.
No injuries were reported.
An investigation continues.
