McDonald’s teams up with Simpl to provide a 1-touch checkout service

Simpl has announced its partnership with MacDonald’s India for its West and South region. The partnership aims to provide customers with a seamless online payment experience while using McDelivery platforms, a press release on the subject reported.

The collaboration uses Simpl’s 1-touch payment technology and allows customers to order seamlessly. McDonald’s operates 357 restaurants in 56 Indian cities in the west and south of the country. As part of its expansion plans, McDonald’s is working to add another 40-45 new outlets in fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24). The company plans to add between 580 and 630 restaurants in the country, according to the press release.

The development has come as more and more customers order online at McDonald’s. The company’s McDonald’s and McDelivery apps have more than 24 million total downloads and millions of registered customers in the two regions (South and West).
