Princess Cruises on Wednesday revealed the exhibits that will probably be featured on the brand new Solar Princess, the road’s first Sphere-class ship coming in February.
Leisure will probably be carried out in three venues: The Dome, the Piazza and the Princess Enviornment.
The Dome, a glass-enclosed venue atop the ship, will function three exhibits from Cirque Eloize — “Come Fly Away,” “Blue” and “Artbeat.” Princess mentioned the house may have a South Seashore vibe.
At Journey Weekly’s CruiseWorld present in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, Princess president John Padgett described “Come Fly Away” because the “intersection of Rat Pack music with Cirque du Soleil.”
The Princess Enviornment will probably be house to 3 new exhibits and a reimagined one.
“Vallora, A Pirate Quest” was created, directed and choreographed by Danny Teeson, who beforehand created “Rock Opera” for the Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess.
Vallora has an ’80s soundtrack, together with the Eurythmics’ “Candy Goals,” Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” Chicago’s “You are the Inspiration” and Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Cease Us Now.” The present follows the heroine Vallora by way of a pirate journey, telling a narrative of trying to find what’s misplaced and, above all else, household and love.
“Stage Struck” is a celebration of musical theater, that includes “On Broadway” from “Smokey Joe’s Cafe,” “Danced All Evening” from “My Truthful Woman,” “Take Me or Go away Me” from “Hire” and “One Evening Solely” from “Dreamgirls.” It’s directed and choreographed by Karen Bruce of “So You Assume You Can Dance” for the BBC and plenty of exhibits on the West Finish.
“Viva La Musica” options Latin hits like Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine’s “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You,” Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Santana’s model of “Oye Como Va” and Pete Rodriguez’s “I Like It Like That.” The present is from Liz Imperio, who has choreographed live performance excursions for Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Gloria Estefan.
Danny Teeson’s “Fiera!” will probably be reimagined on the Solar Princess. The present tells the story of affection blossoming at a turn-of-the-last-century European fairground and includes a medley of songs resembling Weapons & Roses’ “Candy Youngster o’ Mine” and Woman Gaga’s “Born This Manner.”
On the Solar Princess, the Piazza will probably be a theater along with being the ship’s atrium, as it’s on present Princess ships. Princess referred to as it an “thrilling evolution.” The house is surrounded by a multitiered sphere of glass and can host musical acts, sport exhibits and Princess’ famed Champagne Waterfall, which the road says will probably be “elevated.”
The Solar Princess’ maiden cruise will probably be a 10-day voyage between Barcelona and Rome scheduled to depart on Feb. 8. The 4,300-passenger ship will sail Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale throughout the winter 2024-25 season.
