Scientists Uncover Earth’s Core Has Sprung A Leak 

In some ways, this current discovery has been a long time within the making. The very giant ratio of helium-3 to helium-4 in Baffin Island’s volcanic rocks was first found by the College of Edinburgh doctoral pupil Solveigh Lass-Evans, and her findings have been first printed in 2003. 

A part of what made this discovery so thrilling is that it supplied extra proof for a serious concept that Earth has its origins in a photo voltaic nebula that finally collapsed due to a supernova’s shockwave. Theoretically, helium-3 was a part of that photo voltaic nebula, and that’s a part of the way it ended up in Earth’s core.
