Tesla will play a task on this colossal Australian battery challenge

In a transfer to propel Victoria in the direction of renewable vitality, the State Electrical energy Fee of Australia (SEC) introduced a $245 million funding within the Melbourne Renewable Vitality Hub (MREH) in a press launch. This colossal battery challenge, one of many world’s largest, will mark a major stride in the direction of the state’s objective of 95% renewable vitality technology by 2035.

The MREH might be developed in collaboration with renewable vitality investor Equis Australia. The Hub includes three battery parts, with Tesla offering the batteries and Samsung supplying the remaining storage system parts. 

As soon as accomplished, the MREH will boast a staggering 1.6 gigawatt hours of vitality storage capability, with potential for additional enlargement.
