Keisha Nash Whitaker, an actor and producer who was married to actor Forest Whitaker for greater than 20 years, has died. She was 51.
Her 25-year-old daughter, True Whitaker, shared the information in her Instagram Story on Wednesday. She posted photographs of her mom when she was youthful and included the message, “Goodbye mommy. I like you 4ever and past.”
“Probably the most lovely lady on the earth… thanks for instructing me each single factor I do know,” she continued. “I am going to see you in my desires and I am going to really feel you in my coronary heart.”
USA TODAY has confirmed that Forest Whitaker’s verified account follows True’s Instagram account and in addition reached out to Forest Whitaker’s rep for remark.

Keisha is credited on her IMDB web page with a job within the 2004 movie “Proud.”
Forest Whitaker and Keisha Nash Whitaker had two kids collectively, True and Sonnet Whitaker, who’s 27. Keisha had one other daughter, Autumn, from a previous marriage.
The Emmy- and Academy Award-winning actor, who can be the founder and CEO of the Whitaker Peace & Improvement Initiative, filed to divorce Keisha in 2018, citing irreconcilable variations.
The 2 met on the set of the 1994 movie “Blown Away” and have been married for 22 years.
