Tractor-trailers are banned from touring on highways throughout Connecticut in preparation for Tuesday’s snowstorm.

Gov. Ned Lamont signed an order that bans all tandem tractor-trailers and empty tractor-trailers from touring on all restricted entry highways throughout the state.

The ban goes into impact at 12 a.m. on Tuesday and can stay in impact till additional discover.

The ban is being carried out with neighboring states New York and Massachusetts, who’re enacting comparable bans on their roads.
