A look: Orlando Pirates’ line-up with new signings

So Orlando Pirates have so far made six new signings before the Sea Robbers coach cast doubt on any possible additional signings.

Let’s look at what could be his new team.

The Soweto giants signed six players while one of the new additions will remain on loan at Chippa United.

Additionally, the five-time PSL champions have recalled two talents from loan that spent last season away on loan.

The duo is the busy-bee left-winger Monapule Saleng and the exciting Sandile Mthethwa in central defence.

Firstly, this is pure probably based on last season’s best performers as well as the expectations each new signing carries. 

To make it exciting, we have decided to include all the new faces in the line-up below, new players are brought in to improve the team after all – not forgetting how fans are always excited to see the new boys.

Seeing that two number nines have been signed, we have come up with a 4-4-2 formation.

  2. Right-back – Bandile Shandu
  3. Central defender – Nkosinathi Sibisi
  4. Central defender – Tapelo Xoki
  5. Left-back – Innocent Maela
  6. Central midfielder – Miguel Timm
  7. Central midfielder – Goodman Mosele
  8. Right forward – Thembinkosi Lorch
  9. Left forward – Deon Hotto
  10. Striker – Evidence Makgopa
  11. Striker – Eva Nga.

How similar will this line-up be compared to the team Jose Riveiro will name on Saturday against Swallows FC
