Melbourne put their collective foot down that quarter and the Tigers struggled to keep up as the Demons took a four-game lead before a late major from Jack Riewoldt kept his side just within reach.
Bayley Fritsch was sensational that term, so was Ed Langdon although he might be disappointed with a couple of shots on the tight angle late in the term.
Melbourne has 19 behinds so far this game, that is a stunning number and shows how many opportunities they have had to score – you could argue they should have ended this contest already.
That being said, Richmond could still cause the upset but they will need to have one exceptional, efficient final term to have any hope.
