Crows coach Matthew Nicks has put the onus on his whole side to get hands on Nick Daicos tonight and slow down the Magpies champion.
Nicks showed his players vision during the week of their last match where multiple players followed Daicos but didn’t make any physical contact with him and he wants the team to dial up the physical pressure on Daicos tonight.
“We will do it as 18 [players], we will do it as a team,” Nicks told Kayo Sports.
“We have a lot of respect for Nick and we know how good he is at getting time and space, but we would like to think we will touch him a lot more than in the videos you just showed.
“We will see. It’s all well and good to plan everything, but you’ve got to be able to catch the guy.
“We will be disappointed if we don’t execute that tonight.”
