Ajit Pawar’s bright future with NCP, won’t join BJP, says Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut said Ajit Pawar’s future is bright with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and he might not join the BJP.

On Wednesday, while addressing the media, Sanjay Raut said: “NCP leader Ajit Pawar is a senior leader of the Nationalist Congress party. I don’t think he would do such things and go with them (BJP).

“Ajit Pawar’s political future is bright with the NCP. So there is nothing to worry about. He will not join them or become a slave to the BJP. We have full faith in NCP leader Ajit Pawar,” he added. .

Sanjay Raut further mentioned that talks with Ajit Pawar and Nana Patole will take place in the coming days.

“On May 16 we have a rally in Nagpur and before that rally, we will talk to them,” he said.

“NCP Supreme Sharad Pawar is a guardian and we stand with them. Yesterday Uddhav Thackeray and I had talks with Sharad Pawar on many issues. Our connection is like fevicol, no one can separate it. There is no confusion in that,” he added.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut welcomed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s meeting with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.

“We as opposition leaders stand together. I welcome the decision of Nitish Kumar and Tejasvi Yadav to meet Congress Rahul Gandhi and Kharge. It is a positive step towards unity, all the opposition will unite and fight.” , said.

Earlier, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray met NCP Chairman Sharad Pawar on Tuesday night at the latter’s residence in Silver Oak in South Mumbai. Seine (UBT) deputy Sanjay Raut and NCP deputy Supriya Sule were part of the meeting. However, no congressional leaders were present.

Ajit Pawar criticized Maharashtra Congress Speaker Nana Patole on Wednesday, stating that her comments lead to differences in Maha Vikas Aghadoi.

“Many times, Nana Patole says things that lead to differences in Maha Vikas Aghadi. If you have any objections, instead of going to the media, you should talk to Jayant Patil or Uddhav Thackeray.”

Patole denied the allegation, saying that he had conveyed his views to the NCP State Chairman Jayant Patil.

“Ajit Pawar is apparently not aware of the facts. We informed the president of his state, Jayant Patil. If he did not tell, then it is his fault,” he said.

Patole further said that an alliance between the NCP and the BJP will weaken and undermine the fight against the saffron party.

“An alliance with the BJP will weaken the fight against the ruling party in the Center and does not bode well considering the big picture (2024 Lok Sabha polls), but I don’t think Ajit Pawar will join the BJP,” he said.
