Alaska Airways Accident Might Have Been A lot Worse, Investigator Says

PORTLAND, Ore.—A federal probe into Friday’s Alaska Airways flight has began with a give attention to the door plug—nonetheless lacking—that violently blew off the aircraft in midair, leaving a gaping gap in its facet.
