Prey It’s a first-person sci-fi shooter. where you play as the scientist Morgan Yu aboard the Talso 1 in an alternate future where JFK was not assassinated. The spaceship is actually a prisoner transport for an alien species called Typhon that he is experimenting on but, lo and behold, he escapes and nearly wipes out the crew. The game didn’t sell that well. probably partly because of the namebut it has held up over time. It’s also a great reminder of what Arkane Austin is capable of, or at least what it was like before the live-action vampire shooter development process. red drop he reportedly managed 70 percent of the staff that caused Prey to leave the studio.

“The worst version of Prey It’s the game its ending thinks it is, an action game with stealth elements about humanity and moral choices.” my city editor Riley MacLeod wrote in his original review. “The best version of Prey It’s the game that happens in between, one where you ignore its plot completely, take your time exploring every crevice, and hide in a tree to gaze at the stars.”
