The advisory comes on the heels of US President Donald Trump’s assurance to protestors in Iran that “help is on its way”.
The Indian embassy also asked its citizens to stay away from protests and register with the Indian embassy.
The Indian embassy estimates that there are about 10,000 Indians in Iran.
