Speaking at the 54th CISF Rising Day Parade here, Amit Shah said that separatism, terrorism and anti-national activities in any part of the country will be dealt with firmly.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi the government’s policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism will continue in the coming times.
Speaking at the CISF’s 54th Rising Day Parade here, he said that separatism, terrorism and anti-national activities in any part of the country will be dealt with firmly.
Noting that the NDA government has successfully tackled internal security challenges over the past nine years, the union minister stated that violence is subsiding substantially in Kashmir, while insurgency in areas affected by left-wing extremism and of the northeast has also been reduced and the confidence of the people is increasing.
The number of people involved in terrorist activities is declining and many are laying down their arms and joining the mainstream, he said.
