Soon after, there were press reports that Farhan Akhtar had approached Anushka Sharma about taking Priyanka Chopra’s place in the film.

And now, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learned that Anushka Sharma has declined to appear in the film citing date issues. “Anushka was excited by the idea of ​​a female-led journey of self-discovery, but the filming schedules didn’t match her schedule. She has to balance her personal life with her profession, and allocating the number of days Farhan requested was not possible. There are many dates combined with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, but it was not in line with their schedule,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

With the cast struggling to fit into place, Farhan Akhtar has put Jee Le Zara on a complete hold at this point. He will first act in Aamir Khan Production – Champion – and then he will direct Ranveer Singh in Don 3. The gangster film was expected to be announced on July 6 but was later delayed to avoid a clash with the release of Prabhas’ Salaar teaser.

All the ambitious plans around Jee Le Zara are empty at the moment.
