Actress Anushka Sharma recently opted for a motorbike as an option to reach filming locations amid Mumbai traffic. The actress was seen sitting in the passenger seat while her bodyguard rode the bike. After the photos went viral on social media, netizens pointed out that the actress was not wearing a helmet and her bodyguard was too. Under the Motor Vehicle Law, rear seat passengers are also expected to wear helmets and are fined for breaking the rules. Now, the Mumbai police have fined her bodyguard.

Now, the Mumbai Traffic Police issued a challenge against Anushka Sharma’s bodyguard Sonu Shaikh and fined him Rs. 10,500 for riding a bicycle without a helmet and without a license. On Twitter, the Mumbai Traffic Police posted: “Challan has been issued under MV Act Sec 129/194(D), Sec 5/180 and Sec 3(1)181 to the driver along with a fine of Rs. 10,500 and has been paid by the offender.”
