Anushka Sharma’s latest yoga adventure is sure to inspire you

anushka sharma she loves to challenge herself and up her fitness game. As such, the actress not only works out in the gym with weights, but she also loves yoga, a glimpse she recently took to Instagram by performing some advanced-level yoga asanas with ease and effortlessness.

The actress re-shared some photos from her practice posted by her trainer Diksha Lalwani. Check them out below:

In one, she was seen doing Chakrasana or wheel pose with admirable ease. For the inexperienced, the pose is known to be extremely effective in strengthening the legs, arms, spine, and abdomen while opening up the chest. It also stretches the shoulders, hip flexors, glutes, and thighs while increasing flexibility.

In another, she can be seen doing a headstand against the wall, or salamba sirsasana.

Speaking about asanas, yoga trainer Ira Trivedi said indianexpress.com that sirsasana or the headstand is an effective pose and is therefore aptly called the queen of poses. “It is a powerful yoga asana. In fact, many teachers consider it the most important yoga asana due to its incredible benefits. Since it’s an inversion pose, all the blood moves from the lower body to the heart, which strengthens the heart and cools the brain,” Trivedi said.

According to Trivedi, since Sharma was seen balancing his weight on his arms and not on his head, it can make one feel lighter and in perfect harmony and balance. “It’s a beautiful pose to aligning the columnTrivedi said.

We should all try to do this pose as long as there is no pregnancy, period, cervical problems.

However, this is not the first time Sharma has managed to stand on his head. He recalls that, even during his pregnancy, he set important fitness goals while doing headstands with the support of virat kohli.

“This exercise is ‘hands down’ (and legs up) the most difficult,” wrote the Paris actor, as he shares how he followed up with his yoga practice during pregnancy.
