According to Variety, Grande said in the film’s bonus commentary that actor David Eigenberg had an uncredited role in “Wicked.” Eigenberg appeared in the popular “Sex and the City” series from 1998-2004, and later reprised his role in the MAX follow-up “And Just Like That…” as the love interest of Miranda, who was played by Cynthia Nixon.
People reported that while speaking about the Tamarin Monkey in “Wicked,” Grande quipped: “So that, I guess, is Steve from ’Sex and the City. He makes a cameo. He has one line, and it’s the best line in the whole thing, the little Tamarin Monkey.”
A representative from Universal later clarified to People that Grande was joking and noted that the Tamarin Monkey is, in fact, voiced by Kim Durham.

Grande also gave readers a behind-the-scenes look on her journey to Oz. In the interview, the singer made it a point to keep some of “Glinda’s” iconic lines from the Broadway play. In an effort to preserve her love for the role, one of the lines she sought to keep was, “Perhaps you remember my essay? ‘Magic Wands: Need They Have a Point?’”
