At Least 95 Useless in Blasts at Memorial for Iranian Commander Soleimani

At the very least 95 individuals had been killed in explosions in Iran close to a public ceremony commemorating the dying of a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officer killed in 2020 by an American airstrike, the nation’s state media reported. Iranian officers mentioned the blasts had been the work of terrorists.

Some 211 others had been wounded by the blasts, which occurred as crowds gathered close to the tomb of Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, based on Iran’s government-run Islamic Republic Information Company. Iran mentioned it was investigating the reason for the explosions. Officers revised the dying toll down after reporting earlier within the day that 103 individuals had been killed within the blasts.
