SYDNEY, Oct 14 (Reuters) – Australia has cancelled two deliberate flights to repatriate residents from Israel and the Palestinian territories because of the “extremely difficult” scenario, the overseas affairs division stated on Saturday.
Repatriation flights scheduled for Saturday and Sunday won’t depart as deliberate amid a “extremely difficult and quickly altering” scenario, the Division of Overseas Affairs and Commerce (DFAT) stated in a press release on social media.
Australia continues to work with residents within the space to assist them return residence and can talk about future flights, DFAT added.
The primary within the deliberate sequence of repatriation flights left on Friday native time, with over 200 Australians and their households arriving safely in London, in line with SBS Information.
