Australia Indicators Missile Manufacturing Pact With Lockheed Martin

Australia has unveiled plans to provide its first locally-made missiles as early as subsequent 12 months underneath a A$37 million ($24.5 million) contract with American munitions large Lockheed Martin Corp.

Australia will work with the corporate to assemble a small, preliminary batch of missiles as early as 2025, with the intention of ramping up mass manufacturing by the tip of the last decade, Performing Defence Minister Pat Conroy informed a press briefing in Canberra on Tuesday.
