Australia intends to intensify its engagement with Southeast Asia in the face of increasing trade and geopolitical uncertainties, and the slowdown of the Chinese economy.
Prime Minister Antonio Albanese will use a speech to leaders attending the Association of Southeast Asian Nations forum on Wednesday to unveil an economic strategy that calls for a broad review of Australia’s business, trade and education links with the region.
