Australia’s Incitec Pivot names new chief government

Dec 12 (Reuters) – Incitec Pivot (IPL.AX) mentioned on Tuesday Mauro Neves de Moraes will be a part of the Australian fertilizer maker as its chief government officer and managing director, efficient Jan. 22, 2024.

He’ll take over from interim CEO Paul Victor, who took the place after Jeanne Johns stepped down as chief government and managing director in June.

Mauro Neves has held a number of roles within the assets and logistics sector within the final 30 years.

He joined BHP Group (BHP.AX) in 2017 as asset president for the corporate’s Escondida mine in Chile and was appointed as asset president for BHP Mitsubishi Alliance in Queensland in 2021.

Victor will resume his function as Incitec’s finance chief, the corporate mentioned.

The corporate has been dealing with resistance from buyers over its intentions to de-merge Dyno Nobel, its explosives manufacturing division, by way of a separate itemizing.
