At least five people have been killed in an attack on a school in the Austria with several others were injured as emergency services declared a major emergency.
According to information from local media, a school shooting has taken place in the Lend district in the southern city of Graz.
Police said an operation was underway in a street called Dreierschuetzengasse, on which there is a secondary school, but declined further comment.

According to police, the operation began around 10am as gunshots were heard inside the school.
