Authorities investigating two incidents at Logan Airport

Authorities are investigating two separate incidents that occurred at Logan International Airport in Boston on Friday.

One of the incidents is what is called a low speed collision between a United Airlines plane headed for Newark and a Delta plane headed for Detroit.

In the video recorded by the passengers of one of the planes, the United Airlines plane can be seen last night crashing into another parked Delta plane.

No injuries were reported, but 128 people were taken off the United flight. Massport officials say it happened in an airplane parking area near the Hyatt hotel.

United Airlines issued the following statement: “On Friday night, the wing of a United plane clipped the tail of another plane at Boston Logan International Airport. Customers on the United plane disembarked normally at the gate and we will rebook them on other flights.”

Delta also issued a statement regarding the incident.

“While no injuries to our customers or crew have been reported on Delta Flight 1657, the aircraft came into contact with another aircraft while awaiting takeoff clearance at Logan Airfield. Delta crews are working to get the customers to their final destinations tonight, and we apologize.” for the delay,” the airline said.

The second incident is the arrest of Patriots cornerback Jack Jones for allegedly attempting to carry two weapons in his carry-on luggage.

Massachusetts State Police said that while it would not confirm the employment of the people it arrests, Jackie K. Jones, 25, of Arizona, was taken into custody after the weapons were found in her carry-on luggage. The Patriots confirmed that he is his player.

“We have been notified that Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport today,” spokeswoman Stacey James said in a statement. “We are in the process of gathering more information and will not comment further at this time.”

Jones is entering his second year as a cornerback for the Patriots. The Patriots’ minicamp practice was held this week at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
