For the inexperienced, Avantika went to the stories section and shared a video with Miley Cyrus dancing to one of her songs. The video reel caption read: “Her divorce was the best thing for her.” Not only this, but Malik also wrote a note, which many have taken as a subtle confirmation of his divorce from her. His caption read, “Not just her,” followed by a hashtag, “#just saying.”
The news of the breakdown of Imran Khan’s marriage to Avantika Malik shocked many. While the two remained quiet on the matter, it was reported that Imran was having an extramarital affair with South Indian actress Lekha Washington. It is worth mentioning here that Lekha Washington worked with Imran Khan in the 2013 film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, which also starred Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapur.
In fact, the rumors of their courtship resurfaced once again in February of this year, when they were seen together.
Coming to the professional front, the 40-year-old actor was last seen in a 2015 shoot, Katti Batti opposite Kangana Ranaut. After that, he stopped acting and expressed his desire to become a filmmaker. However, there have been no details about his return to the entertainment industry.
