AFL WAG Rebecca Judd has enlightened her fans on what it really means to be highly intelligent – and it’s not what you might expect.
The former speech pathologist, 42, took to Instagram on Thursday to repost some words of wisdom from online life coach Emma Jones about the one quality intelligent people share.
In the video, Emma explained that having a fancy qualification means nothing when it comes to intelligence.
Rather, it has to do with having the ability to change your mind.
‘Here’s how you know someone is highly intelligent. It’s not their degrees, it’s this. It’s what led Oscar Wilde to say that consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative,’ Emma began.
‘What he meant by that was that highly intelligent people know how to change their minds. Watch for them to say something like this: They say things like, “I used to think”, or, “that’s a good point, let me reconsider”.’

Emma said that while most people refuse to alter their opinions due to ego, intelligent people are curious and open-minded rather than defensive.
‘They don’t tie their identity to being right, and they treat being wrong like data not humiliation,’ she said.
‘Albert Einstein also recognised this and said that the measure of intelligence is the ability to change. So here’s the real flex; being able to say: ‘I’ve changed my mind’, without shame,’ Emma concluded.
Emphasising the importance of Emma’s message, Bec captioned the video: ‘Watch this ’til the end [100 emoji].
It comes after Bec shared another pearl of wisdom during an interview at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.

‘Race horses scare me (I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past),’ Bec candidly admitted. ‘This was intense.’
