In April, Mixon pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated threat filed against him earlier this month, according to Hamilton County (Ohio) online court records. The charge stemmed from an alleged January 21 incident in Cincinnati in which the February affidavit alleged Mixon pointed a gun at a woman and said, “I should bust you in the face, I should shoot you.”

A judge from Hamilton County (Ohio) dismissed a charge of aggravated threats against Mixon in February at the request of the Cincinnati District Attorney. In 2014, while Mixon was playing on the University of Oklahoma football team, he was charged with misdemeanor assault and suspended for the 2014 season for hitting a woman. Mixon reached a plea deal and was given a year of probation.
