BMC will install CCTV cameras in 5 reservoirs

In a bid to strengthen security at five reservoirs located at Veravali and Pali Hill, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday submitted a proposal to install state-of-the-art CCTV cameras inside the compound.

According to civic officials, high definition night vision CCTV cameras will be installed at five locations: Pali Hill Reservoir, Veravali High Level Reservoir, and Veravali 1, 2 and 3 Reservoirs. A decision made In accordance with police guidelines, the proposed facility will ensure 24-hour surveillance and the supply of clean, pure water to citizens.
