Boeing has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an Australian engineering firm to proceed receiving precision aerial munition wing kits for its international community.
Australian aerospace constructions and sub-systems producer Ferra Group has seen its settlement to provide the US aerospace manufacturing large with 500-pound Joint Direct Assault Munition Prolonged Vary (JDAM ER) wing kits prolonged by to 2028.
The MoU may also see Ferra discover functions for long-range, low-cost and mass-producible powered JDAM, which may doubtlessly journey greater than 300 nautical miles.
