Boynton Beach police seek suspect after fatal shooting of 19-year-old
Boynton Beach police are investigating the death of 19-year-old Nigel Beckford, who was fatally shot near Northwest 8th Avenue on Saturday.
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. —
The Boynton Beach Police Department announced on Sunday, Aug. 9, that a victim of a shooting has died.
The police department identified the victim as 19-year-old Nigel Beckford of Boynton Beach.
Boynton Beach police are investigating the death of 19-year-old Nigel Beckford (pictured), who was fatally shot near Northwest 8th Avenue on Saturday.
The police department said following the shooting on Saturday, Aug. 8 near the 100 block of Northwest 8th Avenue, Beckford was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

As of Sunday afternoon, police did not provide an update on the search for the suspect.
