Less than a day after a third-place outing at FRAG 20, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold has joined BC.Game on loan for The MongolZ, ending his time with Passion UA. Senzu’s time on Passion UA was brief, as he joined on loan from The MongolZ just over two months ago.
BC.Game benched Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes and António “aragornN” Barbosa earlier this month, leaving them in need of a rifler. While they did announce Maidar “nocries” Baldanov as a sub for IEM Atlanta, it was unclear who their new starters would be.
For Passion UA, the move marks the end of a project meshing five players from five different continents. In a recent interview with Dust2.us Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey “Mnmzzz” Moore, IGL Johnny “JT” Theodosiou vented, “We don’t even have three weeks of practice with Senzu, and it’s been two and a half months.”
The Mongolian player was unable to attend IEM Rio due to rules requiring Passion UA to field more than one North American player, to which JT alludes, “The roster change we made looks good on paper, but there were some events that we weren’t able to play with Senzu.”
Passion UA will now be fielding Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev on loan from ENCE’s bench for the team’s next events. With JT’s representation counting towards the Americas region, the team will likely maintain their current NA designation despite the addition of the Ukrainian player.
