The US Supreme Court has rejected a plea by Tahawwur Rana, an accused in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, seeking to block his extradition to India. The decision moves Rana closer to facing trial in India for his alleged role in the deadly attacks that killed 166 people, including six Americans.
Rana, 64, a Canadian national of Pakistani origin, is currently being held at a federal detention centre in Los Angeles.
