Bristol: Two men face murder charges after bodies found at house in Easton

Two men were due to appear in court today charged with murder after two bodies were discovered at a house in Bristol.

Ionut-Valentin Boboc, 21, and Jacob Bebe Chers, 45, were charged overnight following authorisation from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), Avon and Somerset Police said.

Both men, from the Fishponds area of Bristol, were scheduled to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

It comes after police attended an address in Wood Street in Easton on Sunday following information from a member of the public.

The bodies of two men were found inside the property, with their deaths being treated as suspicious.

A forensic post-mortem is being carried out while officers and police staff review hours of CCTV footage, take statements and carry out other inquiries.

Forensic examinations of the scene are expected to continue for several days, and searches have taken place in other areas – including the Coombe Brook Valley in Fishponds.
