BTS Jhope military service. The members of the most popular boy band, BTS, will soon be leaving for mandatory military service according to their individual schedules. After the older member Jin, rapper Jhope is ready to enlist. There are rumors that Jung Hoseok will be leaving for his military training on April 18. Korean media outlet News1 reported that BTS Jhope will be enlisting at the Gangwon Province Training Center on Tuesday. Previously, the rapper had revealed that his enlistment date is out but he did not announce it.
While Jhope has already prepared for his military service, BigHit Music has reacted to the reports, saying that they cannot release the date. The agency stated, “It is difficult for us to confirm the date and place of J-Hope’s enlistment. We ask for your understanding in this regard.”
Recently, Jhope also shared her photos with short hair before her enlistment. He joined two other BTS members, Jungkook and V, aka Kin Taehyung, for a reunion where he went LIVE with V and showed off his short hair to fans.
She later shared the photos on her Instagram with a scissors emoji in the caption.
Last month, BTS’s management agency BigHit Music confirmed that Jhope will soon begin his mandatory military service. In a statement posted on Weverse, the agency said the 29-year-old singer had requested “the termination of the deferral of his enlistment.” “We would like to inform our fans that j-hope has started the military enlistment process by requesting the termination of his enlistment deferral,” he read in the statement.
“We ask for your continued love and support for Jhope until he completes his military service and returns safely. Our company will spare no effort to support our artist,” the agency added.
Meanwhile, Jin was the first member of the boy band to enlist in the army. He began his 18 months of mandatory military service at a frontline training camp in South Korea in December.
