Car overturns, shuts down stretch of Route 30 in Lancaster County
EAST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A single-vehicle crash shut down a stretch of Route 30 in Lancaster County early Thursday, according to dispatchers.

A car overturned in the westbound lanes near the Greenfield Road exit in East Lampeter Township around 2 a.m.
The car flipped onto its roof, leaving debris in the roadway.
According to PennDOT, all lanes of Route 30 westbound are closed between Lincoln Highway and Greenfield Road.
Dispatch said Route 30 is expected to remain closed for an extended time. PennDOT estimates the road will reopen around 6:30 a.m., more than four hours after the crash.
It’s unclear if anyone was injured.
The overturned car has since been towed away. Crews are still working to clean up debris along the highway.
