Chaos as all cars suddenly stopped on UK motorway – huge delays

All traffic is being held on the M60 as Greater Manchester Police respond to an incident. The closure is currently in place on the M60 between J22 Oldham and J23 Ashton-under-Lyne due to a police led incident.

Greater Manchester Police are leading the response at the scene. There are currently 45 minute delays and three miles of congestion on the approach. National Highways said: “Traffic officers are assisting the police with releasing traffic caught within the closure.”
