Drivers on the M6 motorway are facing traffic chaos this evening, with severe delays and five miles of congestion. Motorway camera footage shows traffic at a complete standstill in Cheshire.
National Highways said in a posed on X that two lanes are closed on the M6 northbound between Junction 18 and Junction 19 due to a traffic collision resulting in a spillage. Motorists have been warned they face delays of up to 45 minutes on apprach and five miles of traffic.
