A GOP activist’s attempt to own Twitter liberals Sunday evening ended with him getting schooled in basic math.
Kirk apparently thinks the number of counties a candidate wins matters more than the number of votes.
Barack Obama:
—69,000,000 votes
—873 countiesDonald Trump:
—75,000,000 votes
—2,497 countiesJoe Biden:
—81,000,000 votes
—477 counties…And we’re not allowed to question his “victoryâ€
🤔

Kirk apparently didn’t consider the possibility that some counties might have more people in them than others.
Luckily, Twitter users were there to school him.
These people are banking on your being an idiot. The counties Biden won are home to about 60% of the U.S. population, almost 200 million people. https://t.co/f72fkzD3wF

Population of Los Angeles County, CA: 10M
Population of Idaho, Kansas, and Kentucky COMBINED: 9.5M
One Biden county: 10M
259 Trump counties: 9.5MBiden took 10 counties in those 3 Trump states but I still counted their pop for Trump.
Hope that clears the math up for you. https://t.co/eZvYJotDxd

Big media and coastal elites want you to believe that just one single company, Apple, has a market capitalization greater than all 2,000 firms in the Russell index. True patriots however know that it’s impossible for some things to contain more stuff than other things! https://t.co/f9r64xiHur

Debunking the “Trump won the most counties” thing seems too obvious to bother but since I’m seeing a lot of this argument today…
A big county has a few million people, a small one has a few hundred people. More than half the population resides in less than 5% of counties. https://t.co/wcWZFBkNDt
