The fame of ‘Mere Angne Mein’ Charu Asopa and their marriage have been making headlines. Even since she married Sushmita Sens’ brother, Rajiv Sen, her personal life became the talk of the town. Charu has lived separately from her husband since 2022 and they have a 15-month-old daughter, Ziana. She is currently struggling to find a home in Mumbai just because she is a single mother. In an interview with ETimes, the actress opened up about her struggles.
Charu shared that she was denied a house because she was a single mother. “From finding a house to moving to Mumbai, it’s not easy. I’ve been looking for houses and it’s very hot. Every day I went out and looked for a house. It was very hectic. There are two things, first, you are an actor and then a single mother. That It’s also a problem.If in Mumbai, actors can’t find a house, where else will they find it?
While talking about a similar situation that arose recently, Asopa shared, “I have faced it as a single mother. I liked a flat, they were very conservative. They found out that I am a single mother and that I would be living alone with my daughter. I could tell she was bothering them.” The actress also revealed how she often falls victim to trolls and how people judge her. Speaking to ETimes, she said: “When you’re a mother, there’s judgment you can’t make.” Wear revealing clothing.”
He further added, “Some people comment that ‘Jaise jaise divorce ka date paas aa raha hai, waise waise kapde chote hote ja rahe hain.’ I used to wear those clothes before too, but it was fine then. Charu previously spoke about her divorce with Rajiv. Charu said that the couple is over for good. She said the couple have been fighting since they got married. She claimed that Rajeev would disappear for weeks or months after a fight and black out all modes of communication. She hoped that they would solve the problem of her daughter Ziana, but it did not happen. The actress herself added that she regrets giving her marriage a second chance. Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa got married in 2019 and welcomed their daughter in November last year.
