Allegheny County police said an investigation is underway into the death of a three-year-old child in Harrison Township. Police said at 12:18 p.m., they were called to a home in the 50 block of Pine Street following reports of an unresponsive child. First responders said the child was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are now conducting a death investigation and are waiting for a cause and manner of death from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. We’re told the child is three years old.
